Congratulations to Alex McQuain on
his performance with the Georgia
Music Educators Association 2010
All-State Jazz Band.
Alex auditioned for a position in
the band against many high school
trumpet players throughout the state
and received 3rd trumpet out of only
5 positions in the band.

middle school directors.

Congratulations
to the Baldwin Marching Pride for
their SUPERIOR
performance at the Heart of Georgia contest on Saturday, October 24
in Warner Robins, GA. The band received all superior ratings in the
captions of color guard, drum major, percussion, and band. The band
placed 3rd in class 5A for all captions. The drum line, band general
effect and band visual were 3rd in competition. The Baldwin Marching
Pride was named the 2nd Runner-Up Grand Champion Band out of 29
marching bands in the competition for the second consecutive year.

Commerce,
GA. The band received superior
ratings in the captions of
band,
drum major, and percussion. The
color guard received an
excellent
rating. The band placed 3rd
in class 5A in the caption of band
and color guard and 5th
in competition. The percussion
placed 2nd in
class 5A, 2nd
in the Gold Division and 2nd
in the entire competition.
The
Baldwin Drum Majors, Precious Lango,
Elizabeth Gooch, and
Devante Battle
received 1st place in
class 5A, Gold Division and 1st
in
the entire competition.
