2011 Heart of Georgia 1st Runner-Up Grand Champions
14th Annual Heart of Georgia
The Baldwin Marching Pride was awarded the 2011 HOG 1st Runner-Up Grand Champion Award on October 22 at Warner Robins High School. The band earned all superior ratings in Drum Major, Color Guard, Percussion and Band as well as 2nd place in Class 5A in all captions. The color guard earned 2nd place in contest and percussion 4th place in contest. The band the final contest performance out of 26 groups for the day.
Coastal Empire Classic Results
The Baldwin Marching Pride had a successful competition performance at the Coastal Empire Classic at Effingham County High School on Saturday. The color guard, percussion, drum majors and band received superior ratings. The band received 2nd place in their class and the drum majors, percussion and color guard received first place in class. The band received 3rd place in the overall competition with the captions of Drum Major, Percussion and Color Guard receiving 1st place in the competition out of 11 bands.
